Kelsey’s passion for dance started at the age of 4 under the Royal Academy of Dance Method. She has trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Contemporary, but always had a special passion for ballet.

Kelsey attended York University where she studied Ballet and Contemporary dance, Human Anatomy, Dance Kinesiology and Choreography. She went on to become a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts honours in Dance and a minor in Education.

In 2006 she joined Mainland Academy of Performing Arts (The Company Experience) and performed all over the lower mainland. She also spent many summers dancing at the Alberta Ballet in Calgary and Harbour Dance in Vancouver.

Kelsey has been teaching dance since 2007. She has been a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance since 2010, teaching students of all levels, Pre-Primary to Advanced 2. She was a director of the ballet program for the student dance company REACH, and is also certified in Progressive Ballet Technique. She went on to run her own dance program Tenacity.

Kelsey continues to nurture her students and their love for dance and hopes to inspire them to be the very best version of themselves.
