Sierra’s true love for dance began at the age of 5 with Panorama School of Dance. Throughout her dancing career she has obtained knowledge from styles such as tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, stage, and hip hop. During Sierra’s time with Panorama she was a student teacher for 4 years learning from the best of the best! She has been a competitive dancer for many years participating in numerous competitions and obtained multiple highest scoring entries.

Through dance, Sierra has had the opportunity to travel across the lower mainland with the Royal City Youth Ballet for the production of “The Nutcracker”. She was the Doll and Arabian soloist along with many other roles. She has also traveled to New York for a summer to dance with The Joffrey Ballet School. Sierra’s hard work has earned the completion of all The Royal Academy of Dance graded and vocational exams.

Just recently, Sierra danced with the University of Victoria’s dance team which allowed her to flourish in the styles of jazz, contemporary and hip hop. Through all of these opportunities she has learned from many different choreographers which has expanded her own ability to choreograph.

Each style has its own unique qualities that makes it difficult to choose a favorite, but if she had to it would be ballet, contemporary, and jazz. Sierra’s main goal is to create a positive, respectful, and creative environment that encourages dancers to let their imagination flow while having fun! She is very excited for the upcoming year to pass on her knowledge and passion for dance to help other dancers strive to be their best.
