Ideal class for ages 8-9 who are new to Jazz or with 1 years experience (who are at least 8 years old) Jazz is a technique driven style of dance performed to upbeat, popular music. It is derived from ballet and has modernized to be included in broadway, music videos, and concert tours. In the technique part of the class, dancers focus mostly on jumps and turns with a concentration of flexibility training.

This Hip Hop class is ideal for students aged 8 - 10. Great for beginners or those returning kids with 0 - 1 years experience. These classes give our students training in whole body co-ordination, rhythm, and physical fitness.

Lyrical Jazz is a combination of ballet and jazz technique performed to softer, slower music. It is a flowing, smooth free form style of dance with the emphasis on continuous movement and fluid transitions. Lyrical Jazz uses the emotion of the song to tell a story. *Ballet or Jazz class must be taken along with Lyrical.

Stage is a form of dance which includes acting and lip syncing with jazz based choreography. This class will benefit the students' expression and performance both in class and on stage. Students will learn routines from popular stage productions. Previous Jazz dance experience is required.

** This is an introduction to the exploration of Contemporary dance and a strong base of ballet training is required. Prerequisite: Must also be registered in a ballet. Dancers born in 2015-17 or by recommendation Contemporary Dance fuses the techniques of Modern and Classical Ballet. It is a creative style of dance that has newer philosophies on movement and use of space. Using ballet technique, it creates interesting shapes and patterns on the stage. Improv dance is explored in this class.
