Carly started her dance career at the age of three in Edmonton, Alberta. Carly has trained extensively in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, and Tap. She completed the Professional Training Program at Dance Alberta and went on to dance in their Professional Dance Company for three seasons.

In her last year with the company, Carly took over as Co-Artistic Director, producing a brand new show called the “Off Centre Dance Project.” Carly has also trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Alberta Ballet in Calgary, San Francisco Dance Centre, Broadway Dance Centre in New York City, Edge Studio in Los Angeles and Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver.

After leaving Dance Alberta, Carly took her training to California where she danced professionally with the Visual Rhythm Dance Company, a vibrant, eclectic jazz company that performed throughout the state of California.

Carly has been teaching at Panorama for many years and in that time has achieved Registered Teaching Status from the Royal Academy of Dance and is now a Mentor with the R.A.D. She has also been intricate in producing year end productions, running the youth company and developing programming. 

Currently, at PSOD Carly teaches Graded and Vocational ballet,  Lyrical and is the Director of the Panorama’s Preschool Program. She continues to grow and learn through various online and in person professional development opportunities, keeping her knowledge fresh and relevant.
