Teacher
Emily joined the Panorama family at the age of six and the studio quickly became her second home. She has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Stage and Hip hop. Emily has completed all of her RAD graded and Vocational exams including Advanced 2.
In her grade 11 and 12 year, Emily was the coach of the Jazz/Lyrical dance team at Ecole Salish Secondary. Here she mentored younger students and choreographed pieces for the team to compete. Emily was part of the Royal City Youth Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” for years. She danced various roles and had the chance to perform with and meet new people.
Emily was part of the Panorama Youth Company for 10 years and has had the opportunity to perform in both the Canada Day and Santa Claus parades, the PNE, Disneyland and Disney World and on a cruise ship. She has also had the opportunity to travel to New York where she trained at Broadway Dance Centre and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.
Emily has been a student teacher at Panorama for several years. Throughout her years of student teacher, Emily has found a love for young children and sharing her passion for dance with them. She aims to inspire her students to be the best version of themselves, both in and out of the studio.
